Festivals

Festivals are basically dance competitions where children can perform solo, duet, trio or in groups and in all types of dance from ballet, tap, national, character, Greek, song and dance etc.  Most children only dance for fun, attending one lesson a week and are therefore not really suited to the tough world of competitions but for those who take their dance more seriously or wish to consider dance as a full time career later in life, festivals can be fun! 

Some festivals are local and aimed more at the novice dancer while others are qualifiers for the All England Dance Championships in London.

Sudbury Festival 2012

This will take place on 11th - 15th February 2012 in Sudbury, Suffolk.

Venue will be Sudbury Upper School, Tudor Road, Sudbury Suffolk CO10 1NW.

Newmarket Festival 2012

This will take place on 21st - 22nd April 2012 in Bottisham, Cambridgeshire.

This will take place in November 2012 in Kesgrave, Ipswich, Suffolk.

Anglian Dance Festival 2012

This took place on 3rd - 5th February 2012 in Wymondham, Norfolk.

The venue was Wymondham High School, Folly Road, Wymondham, Norfolk NR18 0QT
